AZ80A magnesium alloy is an alloy composed of magnesium and other elements added as the base. Its characteristics are: low density (about 1.8g/cm3 magnesium alloy), high specific strength, large specific modulus of elasticity, good heat dissipation, good shock absorption, greater impact load capacity than aluminum alloy, resistance to organics and alkali corrosion it is good. The main alloying elements of AZ80A are aluminum, zinc, manganese, cerium, thorium and a small amount of zirconium or cadmium.
